In a poll of parents in 2014 an overwhelming majority of parents voted in favour of "Fiver Birthdays".

How does it work?
When invited to a party, instead of buying the birthday boy or girl a gift, you put a €5.00 note in their birthday card. No shopping and wrapping, no large expense and the child receives a wad of fivers which they can then use towards a bigger purchase or to put into their savings account (!).

The school and the Parents Association are both delighted to support this policy.
