Rathregan NS runs a very successful book rental scheme for students from First to Sixth Class. 

The fee is €25.00 per student.  The scheme provides very good value: the cost of the 5th/6th class texts is €140.00 approximately if parents purchase new. 

(The only classes which have to purchase texts books are the Junior and Senior Infant classes).
